Display driver stopped responding (Event 4101)
A Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR) event. Windows detected that the GPU took too long to execute a command.
What you may notice
- Screen freezes for a few seconds, goes black, then recovers
- Game crashes to desktop
- Event Viewer logs Event ID 4101
Likely Causes
- Unstable GPU overclock or undervolt
- Overheating GPU
- Buggy driver release

How to fix it
Step 1: Remove Overclocks
Disable MSI Afterburner or any factory overclocks. Run the card at reference speeds.
Step 2: TDRDelay Registry Tweak
Increase the TdrDelay value in the Windows Registry from 2 seconds to 8 seconds.
