Plain-language policy
This page explains how the policy applies to DriverUpdateMax, an independent educational website that does not host driver files, create user accounts, or process payments.
Our Security Posture
DriverUpdateMax is a static, read-only reference site served over HTTPS. There are no user accounts, no passwords, and no payment processing — which removes the most valuable targets outright.
What We Never Hold
We do not store credentials, payment details, or hardware telemetry. The only visitor data that exists is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
Reporting a Vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, email [email protected] with "Security" in the subject line. Please include steps to reproduce and give us a reasonable window to fix the issue before public disclosure.
Our Commitment to Reporters
We aim to acknowledge a clear, good-faith report promptly, share material progress when practical, and credit a reporter in the changelog if they wish. We do not currently run a paid bug-bounty program or promise a reward.
Out of Scope
Findings that require physical access to a visitor's device, social engineering of our team, or vulnerabilities in third-party platforms we link to are outside the scope of this policy.
